The report consists of eight main sections for which the school received seven “Good” grades and one “Outstanding” grade. Many schoolds receive “Satisfactory” grades, but this is not the case with Sandal Magna. Sandal Magna is a “Good” school which means that performance across the school is not merely ordinary.

Attendance continues to affect our children's results and the inspectors identified extended holidays and parents keeping children away from school for no good reason as major factors affecting children's progress.

The inspectors report is a testimony to the hard work, commitment and dedication of children, staff and everyone else who supports the school. It confirms Sandal Magna's place at the heart of the community and emphasises the “Outstanding” progress made by children who stay with us from Foundation Stage to Year Six.
