As funding for the newsletter has ended, the Community News is now accept advertising from local businesses, or other businesses serving the area,which will, we hope, permit the newsletter to continue indefinitely.
The new ABV website is online with multi-lingual capability. Information and stories will be published on the web-site as they break, with the more recent and relevant being selected for publication in the printed newsletter.
A brief history and introduction to the Agbrigg & Belle Vue Community Association
On 8th December 2007, the Agbrigg and Belle Vue Community Association held the Community Christmas Party in the Community Centre.

The Neighbourhood Management Team organised a week of action from 8th to 14th August so that partner service providers to focus their activities in the Agbrigg & Belle Vue area
The WMDC Community Cohesion team have been working hard with other organisations to deliver a Communities R Us project in the area. The first phase of the project saw 8 local people trained in interviewing skills by the Youth Forward project carrying out interviews with residents of Agbrigg and Belle Vue, asking them how they felt about living in the area.
The Agbrigg Flood fund has distributed over £7,404 worth of vouchers to over 100 households in Agbrigg after difficulties caused by the floods of June 2007.

Building work to start in 2008.
Homes were flooded from Doncaster Road to Montague Street, closing Agbrigg and Doncaster Road. Many families have lost all their ground floor possessions, cars disappearing under water.
