This year’s Community Party organised by the Agbrigg & Belle Vue Community Party Group will be held on Sunday 22nd June 2008 1pm till 5pm at Agbrigg Park.
This is to allow children from Sandal Magna School to be involved and to entertain us, it will also be one year from the floods that devastated parts of our community, we therefore want everyone to come along and join us for a new beginning, meet up with friends and neighbours and re-kindle the community spirit .

The recent meeting “After the floods – what next?” hosted by the Agbrigg & Belle Vue Community Association attracted over 100 people. The main speaker was Mr. Peter Davis-Group Engineer, W.M.D.C.
Julia Simpson, Headteacher
The report consists of eight main sections for which the school received seven “Good†grades and one “Outstanding†grade. Many schoolds receive “Satisfactory†grades, but this is not the case with Sandal Magna. Sandal Magna is a “Good†school which means that performance across the school is not merely ordinary.
Attendance continues to affect our children's results and the inspectors identified extended holidays and parents keeping children away from school for no good reason as major factors affecting children's progress.

There's a critical difference between conforming with common ideas on saving the environment and actually saving the environment. Good intentions can never replace good actions. Good intentions badly executed can even cause direct harm. Recycling is a popular idea but it takes some care to manage it in a way to get the intended benefits.
