Neighbourhood Management Update

The Neighbourhood Management team have exciting plans for 2009, we have recently received planning permission for community flags which will be positioned along Agbrigg Road.  The flags will carry pictures which have been designed with input from local groups. So watch out!

Have you seen the improvements to William Prince Grove play area?
The play area has had a complete make over and is packed full of new equipment, it will shortly be re-opened for all to enjoy.
To complete the make-over the wall overlooking the play area will be brightened up by the painting a mural which will include trees, flowers and woodland creatures.  If you enjoy painting or taking part in community activities and would like to give us a hand please contact us on 01924 303320 or call into the Community Centre on Montague Street for further information.

New images are soon to be added on the path running from the corner of Agbrigg Road to Doncaster Road.  The images will brighten up the path, and provide a bit of fun for the children.  We would like to encourage people to use the path rather than walking near the road.
The Police meeting held on Tuesday 10th February was a great success. It was well attended by residents and gave everyone the chance to meet the new Inspector Helen Brear.  The date of the next meeting will be displayed in the community garden notice board as soon as it’s confirmed.  Come along and have your say.
