Agbrigg & Belle Vue Community Association

Since April, a couple of  meetings have been held by the Community Police Team, unfortunately poor publicity has resulted in poor attendance. Julie, our PCSO is trying to resolve this by having regular meeting dates published in the Community News.

Many issues raised several come up repeatedly:

20mph speed limit on Agbrigg Road – amazingly even though this speed limit has been in force at least 4 years, some responsible local residents claim not to be aware of it. It was agreed that we would try and raise awareness through the newspaper  – so please take note.
Illegal parking outside the Co-operative Store – residents and the police have concerns here regarding safety, and action will be taken if you are caught.

Fly-tipping and absent landlords – Under new legislation action can be taken against landlords for the rubbish left lying about in gardens and beyond.

Police community meetings will be held at the Agbrigg & Belle Vue Community Centre, Montague Street on these dates:
