The ABVCA website is now online again at www.abv.org.uk and is updated at least monthly, and goes back three years. Information and stories will be published on the web-site as they break, with the more recent and relevant being selected for publication in the printed newsletter.
The website is designed to be multi-lingual, so that translations of stories can easily be made and published – and as there are at least fifteen languages spoken in the community this is a distinct advantage.
Volunteers who are willing to translate information will need to be reasonably fluent in english and the other language as well as be comfortable operating a word processor and web browser, and be familiar with common text-entry systems for whatever character sets are commonly used in the language to which they wish to translate. Anyone wishing to volunteer, or discuss whether or not they would like to volunteer should email me: editor@abv.org.uk
